What I’m Doing Now
New House
I’ve purchased a house! It’s a surreal feeling. I’ve been apartment hopping for 15 years. Late last year, I started to have a strong desire to put down some roots. Apartment life has always made me feel a bit transient. It’s hard to invest in or care deeply about a community when it’s not your community. It’s just the people you’re around and the streets you’re on for 6–12 months. So I’m looking forward to being part of something and slowly upgrading things here and there in my new abode.
TCG Foundry Website
After selling the Card Caddy on Etsy for the past five months, I’ve now launched a new version of TCG Foundry focused on selling Magic: The Gathering accessories through my own e-commerce store. I’ve only had one sale on the site so far, but hey, that covers my $1 trial. 😁
Furnace Fest
I attended Furnace Fest for the first time this year, and it was an amazing weekend. So many fantastic bands, great food, and quality time with my brother. FF is a historic hardcore, punk, metal, and rock festival held at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, AL. It has been running for over 20 years, and after attending, I can see why. Thank you to the organizers for putting on such an incredible event. I was able to see Living Sacrifice, Zao, and Norma Jean, bands I’ve listened to since middle school but never had the chance to see live until now.
