It’s a Big, Big World
I love going to big cities. They offer new experiences, things to see, food to eat…but one of the things I enjoy most is being reminded of how relatively insignificant I am as an individual.
I’m just a small fish in a big pond.
100 years from now, no one will remember me. My belongings and wealth will likely dissapear.
It will be as if I never existed on this earth.
Depressing thoughts? On the contrary, quite freeing.
Because as little and insiginificant as I may be, God cares about each and every one of us.
Christ died for me, a sinner. He died for a being that was here one day and gone the next. Gone to spend eternity with Him, thanks to His grace and love. Love for a small fish like me.
What a beautiful love that is and how thankful I am for it.
